I’m Matthew Rathgeb, founder of Groovy Hues and owner of Groovy Hues Painting of Philadelphia. For over 20 years, I’ve been passionate about bringing color, peace, and professionalism to homes and businesses across the Greater Philadelphia area.

What started as a one-man operation with a vision for better service has grown into one of the region’s most trusted painting companies—now the flagship franchise for Groovy Hues, a rapidly expanding national brand.

Our local team serves Philadelphia, the Main Line, Bucks, Montgomery, and Delaware counties with a level of care and efficiency that’s anything but average.

From the early days of personally quoting every job and brushing every wall myself, I knew this business had to stand for more than just paint. It had to be about trust, responsiveness, and quality that speaks for itself. That’s why every Groovy Hues experience is built on five core values: grind hard, serve others, win with integrity, wow every client, and always do the right thing—even when no one’s looking.

We offer same-day on-site estimates, flexible financing options (including no interest and no payments for a year), free color consultations, and full walk-throughs at the end of every project—because you shouldn’t pay until you're blown away by the results.

When I’m not leading our growing team, you’ll find me spending time with my family, coaching others, or strategizing ways to keep raising the bar—not just in painting, but in how people feel when they work with us.

My name is Michelle Reilly, and I serve as a  Consultant at Groovy Hues Painting. I’ve been with Groovy Hues for 3 years. I love being part of our clients' journey in bringing their dream space to life. It’s incredibly rewarding to guide them through every stage of the project, from the initial consultation to the final touches, and even maintaining a connection with them through our job anniversary check-ins. I don’t particularly have a favorite between interior, exterior, or cabinetry projects—I genuinely enjoy them all! My favorite part in any project though, is seeing the finished result and witnessing how happy the transformation makes our clients! Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my three children. Whether we’re going for a walk or enjoying a family game night, it’s always about creating fun moments together. We have a special way of turning even the simplest activities into a good time! I take immense pride in my work because I wholeheartedly believe in our company’s mission. Our goal is to deliver a top-tier client experience paired with the highest quality of workmanship. Every team member, from the first person answering the phone to the final painter, all share the same commitment to our core values. This makes working at Groovy Hues incredibly rewarding, and I feel truly honored to be part of such a special company.

Hi, I’m Matthew Goff—your go-to sales consultant here at Groovy Hues. I’m driven by relationships, solutions, and service. My goal is to make every step of your painting experience feel easy, transparent, and tailored to you. I love what I do because it gives me the chance to help people create the spaces they’ve always dreamed of calling home.

With a strong understanding of customer needs and a passion for solving problems, I take pride in bringing energy, clarity, and trust to every interaction. Whether it's your first time working with a painting company or you're ready for a complete refresh, I’m here to make it seamless and stress-free.

Outside of work, you’ll find me at the gym, hanging out with my dogs, or soaking up quality time with my family. That’s where I find balance and the motivation to show up every day ready to serve you with excellence.

Born and raised in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia, I’ve always had a deep love for this city and its people. I graduated from Temple University in 2023 and began my career in the hospitality world, working in food and beverage. While I learned so much from that industry, I made an exciting transition in April 2025 when I joined the Groovy Hues Painting team.

Outside of work, you can find me cheering on our Philly sports teams, planning my next Thanksgiving getaway (a yearly tradition!), or exploring the city's best food and drink spots with my friends. Family is everything to me, and I especially love spending time with my adorable 1-year-old nephew.

Linsey Myers is a creative force who turns everyday spaces into bold, vibrant statements. With a BFA in Interior Design and years of hands-on experience across residential, commercial, and retail environments, she’s built a reputation for making design feel approachable and exciting.

Color consultations with her go way beyond “picking a paint.” She blends smart palettes, stunning visual renderings, and a touch of playful edge to bring her clients’ vision to life. From custom furnishings to statement walls, she loves crafting spaces that reflect personality and vibe.

Whether collaborating with homeowners, designers, or paint pros, Linsey keeps the process light, fun, and full of creative energy—because great design should feel as good as it looks.

That mindset has guided my 12+ years in marketing—using strategy, analytics, and innovation to help businesses grow with purpose and clarity. I hold dual degrees in International Economics and Management and have built my career around a passion for marketing that blends creativity with data-driven strategy.

At Groovy Hues Painting, I’m proud to be part of a team that feels like family. Seeing the franchise grow while contributing to its success has been a rewarding journey, and I love collaborating with great people who share the same values of integrity, transparency, and service.

Outside of work, I spend as much time as possible with my kids. I’m also a big soccer and boxing fan, carrying a love for the sports I grew up with.

I’m Jeffery, the content creator and planner here at Groovy Hues of Philadelphia. I handle everything from filming and editing to planning out our social media content and video strategy. My goal is to capture the real side of what we do — the transformations, the people, and the energy that make Groovy Hues stand out.

I’m all about creating content that feels genuine, tells a story, and shows what it’s really like to work with our team. Whether it’s behind-the-scenes shots, before-and-afters, or customer highlights, I make sure every piece of content shows off the craftsmanship and personality that define Groovy Hues.
