At Groovy Hues Painting of Philadelphia, we believe painting is more than a service—it’s a way to serve. Through our Paint It Forward program, we donate a full professional paint job to one deserving recipient each year. That recipient could be a family, a nonprofit, a community organization, or anyone making a difference who could use our help.

If you know a nonprofit, charity, community group, or individual family in Philadelphia or the surrounding counties who would benefit from a fresh coat of paint, we’d love to hear their story.

Nominations received after this date will be considered for the next Paint It Forward cycle.
Winner Announced: Week of Thanksgiving
We’ll reveal the recipient on our social media channels and contact them directly.

All nominations will be kept confidential. Our team will review submissions and select one organization or family to receive this year’s Paint It Forward project.

Simply complete our online nomination form. Share the family’s or organization’s story, explain why they deserve to be chosen, and include photos if possible. All submissions are kept confidential.

Q4: Can I nominate my own family or my own organization?
Yes. Self-nominations are welcome. If your family, nonprofit, or community group could use a paint makeover, you’re encouraged to submit your story.

Q5: How does Groovy Hues choose the Paint It Forward winner?
Our team reviews all nominations carefully and selects a recipient based on need, impact, and how our painting services can best help. We announce the chosen family or organization after the nomination deadline.

Q6: When is the Paint It Forward free paint job offered?
Groovy Hues runs Paint It Forward once a year, usually in the spring or during the holiday season. Exact nomination and announcement dates will be posted on this page.

Paint It Forward is a charitable community initiative, not a sweepstakes or promotion. While one recipient “wins” a free paint job, the heart of the program is about giving back and supporting neighbors in need.
