When you hire a local painting company, you want a team that understands the community and takes pride in its work.

Gordon and Carole Hansen bring complementary strengths to Groovy Hues Painting of South Jordan. Gordon grew up around painting, with generations of family experience in the trade. Carole is an artist who understands how color can transform a space and influence how it feels.

Together, they bring hands-on industry experience and an artistic perspective to their business, with a shared commitment to quality workmanship and thoughtful customer service.

Proud members of the South Jordan Chamber of Commerce, Gordon and Carole are committed to serving their local community. They work with homeowners and businesses throughout South Jordan and the surrounding Salt Lake Valley to help create spaces that reflect their needs, style, and vision.

Attention to Detail That Shows in the Finished Result

Beautiful results don’t happen by accident. The preparation, product selection, application, and finishing touches all play a role in how a painting project looks when it’s complete.

At Groovy Hues Painting of South Jordan, we believe the details deserve just as much attention as the big picture.

• Preparation before painting. Cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming may be needed to create a suitable surface for paint. We consider the condition of each surface and the preparation required for the project.
• Professional products and techniques. We use quality painting products selected to suit the surfaces and goals of your project.
• Careful application. Consistent coverage, clean lines, and attention to edges and trim help create a polished, cohesive appearance.
• A thoughtful final review. We want you to be happy with the finished work. Reviewing the project and addressing any outstanding concerns are important parts of the experience.

Whether you’re updating a few rooms or refreshing the exterior of your home, our goal is to deliver results that reflect care, skill, and attention to detail.

Clear Communication and a Straightforward Process

Hiring painters shouldn’t leave you wondering what’s happening in your own home. We believe clear communication helps make the experience more comfortable from the beginning.

Here’s what you can expect when working with Groovy Hues Painting of South Jordan:

• A conversation about your goals. We take time to understand what you want to change, what matters most to you, and what you hope to achieve with your project.
• A clear project scope. Your free estimate helps establish the work being considered, so you can better understand the project before it begins.
• Communication throughout the process. We aim to keep you informed about project details, scheduling, and any questions that come up along the way.
• A team that listens. Your questions and concerns matter. We want you to feel comfortable speaking up and confident that your expectations are being considered.

We know inviting contractors into your home requires trust. Our goal is to earn that trust through thoughtful service, clear expectations, and follow-through.

Color Guidance That Helps You Feel Confident

Choosing a paint color can feel simple until you’re faced with hundreds of possibilities. A shade that looks perfect on a sample card may look different on your walls, alongside your flooring, or in changing natural light. That’s where our color consultation services can help.

At Groovy Hues Painting of South Jordan, we offer a free color consultation with any painting project to help you explore your options and feel confident in your choices.

With guidance from our team, you can explore color palettes, finishes, and combinations that complement your home’s existing features and your personal style.

• Find colors that fit your space. Consider your lighting, furnishings, flooring, and the overall atmosphere you want to create.
• Create a cohesive look. Explore how colors work together across adjoining rooms, trim, cabinetry, and other surfaces.
• Visualize your options. Color visualization tools can help you explore possibilities before making a final decision.
• Make choices with greater confidence. Get professional guidance as you narrow down your options and decide what feels right for your home.

Whether you prefer timeless neutrals, warm earthy tones, or a more colorful design, we’re here to help you find a direction that reflects your taste.

Respect for Your Home and Your Routine

Your home is personal, and a painting project can affect your everyday routine. We work to make the process as considerate and organized as possible.

• Protecting your space. We take appropriate steps to protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding surfaces during the project.
• Keeping the work area organized. We aim to maintain a tidy workspace and minimize unnecessary disruption.
• Cleaning up after the work. We take care of the work area before wrapping up so you can begin enjoying your refreshed space.
• Working with consideration. We understand that your household has its own schedule and needs. We discuss project logistics with you to help set clear expectations.

We want the experience of updating your home to feel rewarding, not overwhelming.

Local Knowledge for South Jordan Homes

South Jordan and the surrounding Salt Lake Valley experience hot, sunny summers, cold winters, and seasonal temperature swings. Those conditions can affect painted surfaces, especially on exposed exterior materials.

Our local perspective helps us consider the needs of your property when planning a painting project.

• Thoughtful product selection. Different materials and exposure levels call for different painting products and finishes.
• Weather-conscious scheduling. Exterior painting needs suitable temperatures and surface conditions for proper application. We consider weather and manufacturer recommendations when planning the work.
• Solutions for different property styles. From newer homes in Daybreak to established South Jordan neighborhoods, each property has its own materials, design, and maintenance needs.
• A focus on appearance and protection. The right preparation and finish can help refresh your property’s appearance while supporting the long-term performance of painted surfaces.

We combine professional painting services with consideration for the local conditions your home or business faces.

Thoughtful Service That Goes Beyond Expectations

For Gordon and Carole, unreasonable hospitality isn’t just a phrase. It’s the philosophy behind how they want customers to feel when they work with Groovy Hues Painting of South Jordan.

They believe the difference between a good experience and a great one often comes down to the small things: taking an extra moment to check a detail, making sure a question has been answered, or finding a thoughtful way to celebrate a completed project.

That philosophy shapes how we approach customer relationships. We want you to feel heard, respected, and genuinely happy with the experience, not simply satisfied that the work is finished.

It’s also why we value relationships that continue after a project ends. We hope you’ll feel comfortable recommending our team to a neighbor, reaching out about a future project, or simply saying hello when you see us around South Jordan.

When you choose Groovy Hues Painting of South Jordan, you’re choosing a team that wants to earn your trust through the way we work and the way we treat people.

Convenient Ways to Plan Your Project

We understand that updating your home or business is an investment. Our team offers free estimates to help you understand your project and available financing options to help you explore ways to manage the cost.

• Free painting estimates. Discuss your goals, the scope of your project, and the next steps with our team.
• Personalized recommendations. Explore options that align with your property, priorities, and budget.
• Financing options. Ask about available financing during your consultation to learn more about the options offered.
