Groovy Hues was an exceptional choice for our school's painting project. Very satisfied with the work, timeline and communication with the owner. Our finished product looked great! Highly recommend Groovy Hues for small and large projects, both commercial and residential.

Groovy Hues was a great choice when there are so many companies to choose from. I immediately was impressed with Gus when he came to give me a quote. He’s very professional & answered questions I didn’t think to ask. He and his crew are very accommodating, and do great work. I’d definitely hire them for my next painting needs.

Groovy Hues embodies all of the traits that makes me want to continue doing business with them. First of all, they are competent. They did not take shortcuts and the paint job looked great when they finished. The clean up afterwards was meticulous. Secondly, they were polite, responsive, and attentive. They arrived when they said they would and spent the time working as opposed to staying on their phones or talking with one another. Finally, they were fair on pricing. We had the same painter for nearly 25 years and when he retired we thought we would never be able find another one as good as he was. But we did. We have already asked them to give us a quote on painting our first floor. Highly recommend.

I previously gave a 5 star rating because I had great service on 2 projects. I had peeling issues months after my deck was sprayed. I found the person I previously worked with had moved on. Gus the owner finally got back to me. He insisted I prove they did the work, which I did. He said it doesn’t say deck anywhere! He said they changed systems and “lost” my invoice. When he finally came to look at it he blamed us for drag marks, which did nothing to cause any peeling! Too shorten the story he just kept throwing out excuses after excuses to not take care of their responsibility. I ended up with 1 gallon of stain. This is an extremely poor manager of this company. Do not use them!

Repeat customer here and a good reason why; they do great work, communicate, and are very reasonable. I have found it very challenging finding contractors in DSM that do quality work AND communicate, so I’ll be with GH as long as I live here.
